You're Invited: Black Joy Awaits!

In the spirit of love, light, liberation, and legacy, you are cordially invited to a complementary holiday celebration of Black Joy especially curated for Black SPS Families!  Join us for an afternoon of Black Joy this Saturday, December 4, from noon - 3pm at WOW Gallery.  Enjoy food, soulful holiday music, cider and exhibition tours! This special holiday healing celebration is created because WE SEE YOU!

Located in the heart of Downtown Seattle at 600 Pine Street, on the Third Floor, in Pacific Place Mall. Paid parking is conveniently available in the garage directly below.

WOW Gallery is a cultural destination experience featuring the healing and historic ‘Dear Sista, I See You’ exhibition by founders Veronica Very and Hiawatha D. This magical space was intentionally designed with edutainment in mind for Black families. It unapologetically centers Black Women, Black Love, and the Black community. 

Throughout our history Black families have advocated for excellence in education and in life for our brilliant Black children. But Black excellence cannot be void of Beloved Black Joy. Bring your family and engage the energies of joy, art, laughter, and creativity. Black Joy has the power to heal and strengthen our bonds. Black Joy brings a healing and hope that is necessary and greatly needed at such a time as this in our society.  It inspires us to draw strength and wisdom from our culture and the legacies of our ancestors.
