This dynamic gathering offers a unique platform for meaningful discussions on social justice, cultural heritage, personal growth, and the transformative power of leadership.

Carmen Best (Black in Blue): Former Chief of Police, author, and social justice advocate. Carmen will share her leadership journey, her experiences in law enforcement, and how she continues to empower communities.

Linda Lowry serves as the City of Seattle Arts Commissioner, champions opportunity as a Director at Year Up United, informs and inspires through her "Social in Seattle" column in Seattle Magazine, shares the city's vibrant pulse with her segment on KOMO Arc Media, and delights food enthusiasts at Seattle Dining Magazine.
Special Guests: Bernadette Bascom, daughter of Civil Rights activist Rev. Marion C. Bascom, is an acclaimed American R&B singer. She was the first artist signed to Stevie Wonder's Black Bull Records and performed on the Las Vegas Strip for 15 years, co-starring in Divine Divas and collaborating with legends like Elton John. Her hit "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love" stands out in her career.
Since 2004, Bernadette has taught vocals in Seattle, managed the Northshore Wranglers Program, and taught at Northwest University. She founded the Music Project to help children, especially neurodivergent ones, build confidence through singing. Her work was honored with a 2012 Emmy for Bernadette's Touch, a documentary on her impact.
Rossario George, founded by designer Tony Vincente in Seattle, is a luxury fashion brand blending art, travel, and style. Vincente began his journey in 2016, gaining recognition through Shop Vida before launching his own label. Inspired by his partner and their stylish father, the brand embraces inclusivity and sophistication.
Known for exceptional craftsmanship, Rossario George debuted a solo show at Milan Fashion Week in 2024. The latest collection, Take Off, reflects Vincente’s passion for travel and timeless luxury, cementing the brand’s impact on the fashion industry.
